READ
For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you” (Luke 6: 38).
REFLECT
We are truly called and expected, as Christians, to imitate the perfection of God. This includes imitating God’s mercifulness. God is never outdone in generosity, and so even when we are able to be merciful through the grace of God, God will shower us with even more mercy and generosity.
PRAY
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, help me to treat others the way in which I would like to be treated. Help me to be merciful to the people in my life, and so imitate and receive your mercy. Amen.
