NEW for the 2026 Lenten Season, all student volunteers MUST have a signed parent waiver on file in order to volunteer at the Fish Fry Fridays. Students may bring the waiver with them when they come to volunteer, or you may email the signed form to Kimberly Scanish at kscanish@thegoodshep.org. You only need to fill out the waiver once to cover the Lenten Season. Students will not be permitted to stay and volunteer without the signed waiver. We will have waivers at the check-in desk for parents to fill out.

2026 Fish Fry Student Volunteer Waiver

Student Volunteers are needed Fridays from 4 PM to 6:45 PM on the following dates:
- February 20, February 27,
- March 6, March 13, March 20, and March 27.
Duties will be assigned when the student arrives. Some of these duties include: cashier table assistant, table escort, food runner, dessert or drink table, take-out helper, or table cleanup/reset.
All students handling un-bagged or un-plated food MUST wear gloves AND a head covering (hat or hair net). Gloves and hair nets are available in the kitchen. Baseball caps are permitted but must have appropriate logos or designs.
Please be mindful of your attire. You will be representing Good Shepherd Student Ministry at the Fish Fry events. Student Fish Fry t-shirts will be available until supplies run out. Please be sure to wear comfortable shoes for moving around the Parish Halls and Lobby.
Students will need to check in when they arrive. Students should come to Entrance C only when entering the Parish Halls. This is the entrance at the front of the church near the creche. Please do not drop students off at the back of the Parish Halls. All students must check in at the front desk (located in the vestibule at Entrance C) for the event.
