Dear Parish Family:

We are blessed with two  special opportunities to attend a spiritual retreat right here at Good Shepherd this Fall!  These one-day Saturday retreats for Women on October 26 and Men on November 2 begin at

8:15 a.m. and will conclude by 4:45 p.m.  They are a chance for spiritual renewal as we gather for prayer, inspiring talks, and reflection. With the theme “The Light of the World”, these energizing retreat days  will encourage us to live as disciples of Christ each and every day!

These retreat days are structured around four presentations.  Following each one, there will be a witness talk given by a parishioner to share their own experience/living/challenge of the topic that was presented.  Then there will be brief small-group discussions on the topic.  There will be time for Mass, private prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, the opportunity for confession, and the communal praying of the rosary. 

Retreats are intentional times to stop the busyness of life and to reflect and assess where we are in our relationship with God and how we can take it to the next level.   These parish retreats also remind us that we don’t make the journey alone.   We have fellow pilgrims walking with us!
