Father Sullivan received his priestly formation at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary in Overbrook, Philadelphia and was ordained a priest in 1997. He holds undergraduate degrees in Communications and Philosophy as well as a Master of Divinity degree and a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology. Father Sullivan strives every day to build bridges between heaven and earth by bringing Jesus to people and people to Jesus. Having served as parochial vicar at Good Shepherd for just 364 days in 2000/2001, he was installed as pastor on June 30, 2019. Father Sullivan is happy, honored, and humbled to be back at Good Shepherd and serve the People of God here. He is inspired by the faith and devotion of our parishioners and looks forward to the great things to come.

Favorite Thing about Good Shepherd: Witnessing how God is acting in and through our parishioners.
When Not Serving at Good Shepherd: I love Philadelphia and all things Philly! I like spending time with family and friends, watching movies and documentaries, reading mysteries, going to the Jersey Shore, and walking my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Charlie.
“Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them, every day begin the task anew.” ~Saint Francis de Sales
