Dear Parish Family:

The Jubilee Year 2025 starts for Good Shepherd Parish a triduum of Celebrations.   This year marks the 2025th anniversary of the Birth of the Lord.   2026 will mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of our parish.   2027 will mark the 50th anniversary of the church on Trindle Road.  These three years are an important time for us to celebrate our past, present, and future.  To offer to God thanks and praise for all that has been and to place in His loving hands all that is yet to be.

We are working on some wonderful things that will help us offer thanksgiving as well as prepare for the future.   I invite our parishioners to join me this week and members of our parish leadership as we share exciting updates on our parish and church anniversaries, how we are using parish resources to support and grow mission and ministries, important capital improvement projects, and the steps we can take together toward a future filled with incredible hope.  Next Steps Info Sessions will be held this Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Parish Hall A.   This is an in-person event.  For those who cannot attend, a summary of the meeting will be available next week.
